STUDENTS (at all levels)
What will you do?
- Lead an independent project that fits your skills and scientific interest.
- Run experiments, analyze data and possibly derive mathematical models. Work in our lab ranges form circuit analysis and monitoring of brain activity to wet biology and modeling. The precise mixture will depend on your specific project.
- Participate in academic activities such an courses, lab meetings and conferences.
What will you get?
- An opportunity to be part of a cutting edge neuroscience lab.
- Access to state-of-the-art tools for revealing causal links between neural activity and behavior.
- Get mentoring towards your goals. We take mentoring very seriously, with the understanding that different students come from different backgrounds, have different motivations and work towards different goals.
- A chance to work in a collaborative and open environment.
What are we looking for?
- Talented, independent, self-motivated individuals from different backgrounds.
- Computational background (MATLAB/Python) is a major advantage as we are using quantitative tools for collecting, analyzing and modeling the data.
If you have basic mathematical/computational skills and happy to develop them further as needed, this is also good. - We look for people who like to be part of a diverse and open team, where people share knowledge and learn from each other.
- Individuals with expertise in neurophysiological recordings are particularly encouraged to apply.
